When you think of a backyard wedding, you probably don’t imagine over 200 guests. Emily and Peter pulled it off FLAWLESSLY! With the help of their rock star planning team at Christina Burton Events, their home became a classic, elegant oasis for the family and friends they hold so dear. Every detail was intentional and sophisticated–from the rich green and navy worn by the wedding party to the dark, romantic table settings.

I had the pleasure of shooting their in-home engagement session as well. I was blown away by the phenomenal transformation that still captured their comfort and grace. We also visited West Fork Whiskey Company during their rehearsal dinner. Just when you think this couple could not be any more elegant put a whiskey toast in their hands. To make this romantic night even more special for the family, Emily and Peter drove off into the sunset in the same Mercedes that Peter’s parents were married in. They can’t wait to tell their kids about their beautiful (and maybe a little lofty) day. Who knows? Maybe they can continue to honor their familial love and put some more wedding miles on grandpa’s car in the future. Perfection!
