Aaron may not have won the workout of the day when he picked Makenzie first to be on his CrossFit team, but she likes to think he knew what he was doing the day they met–and he won so much more! Aaron and Makenzie officially became a couple right before the COVID pandemic began, and they have been through so much to get to this day. Quarantine, long-distance, and opposite tastes in music couldn’t keep them apart!
Castle and Key is, as always, one of my favorite Kentucky wedding venues and today was no different. Makenzie and Aaron are such a refined, elegant couple and this setting was the perfect complement to their wedding day. The classic black and white theme with touches of lush greenery and gold accents created the picture of moody-sophistication Makenzie dreamt of. Did you see that gorgeous, sleek cake with black fondant? So chic! Not much could take the attention away from Makenzie in her sleek Rita Vinieris gown, but the star of the show may have been their Golden Retriever, Tally. So cute!
