The Seelbach served as inspiration when Fitzgerald was writing The Great Gatsby and its charm and elegance continues make the perfect backdrop to gorgeous weddings in Louisville today. Bailey and Bryan opted for a smaller ceremony at the end of 2020 and then had a larger reception in the summer of 2021–a love so big they got to celebrate it twice! Grace, style, and classic touches with a modern spin—In The Great Gatsby, Daisy tells Gatsby, “You always look so cool.” I think Fitzgerald would have thought Bailey and Bryan’s wedding day(s!) were undeniably cool as well.
